Splash Water On My Face Carefully So My Nintendo Switch Doesnt Get Wet

It’s 3pm on a Friday and I can’t even describe how excited I am for the weekend. Usually, if we aren’t too busy around the office, my manager lets us leave 30 minutes to an hour early to start the weekend. I’m salaried so I make $52,000 a year regardless of the hours I work. Sure, sometimes they require us to work more than 40 hours a week. Come to think of it, there are a lot of weeks I work more than 40 hours, but hey, whatever, most of the time I’m just sitting in my cubicle looking up the latest news about my most anticipated games this year or trying to research the best ways I can improve my rank in Fortnite. Come to think of it, I probably spend less than 20 hours a week actually doing work, but hey, staying late for meetings and other issues is just part of the job, right?

Anyway, back to the weekend. My friends and I are getting together tonight to drink and play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It’s going to be a classic night of gaming just like back in the old days on the N64. Then, my Saturday is going to be a great time playing through the rest of Red Dead Redemption 2. I’m sure you’ve heard of that game, but dude it’s crazier and better than you probably even heard. I’ve already spent 40 hours playing it so far and I’m sure I’ll get over 100 hours out of the game before I’m done. I’m such a completionist. I purposefully set aside Saturday for Red Dead because I know if I don’t set that time aside then I’ll just end up watching and playing Fortnite like I usually do. It’s either that or Call of Duty as of late. Man, there’s really nothing like clutching a round when the circle is closing in and there are only a handful of people left.

Anyway, it’s just going to be such an awesome weekend of gaming. What are my plans for the future? Well, honestly, I haven’t really put much thought into it. I’m young, I’m only 26 right now and I have plenty of time for serious stuff later. Right now I’m really just content playing games and chilling with my friends. Oh shit, did I mention my friends and I are going to get high as fuck and watch a marathon of Game of Thrones as well as Rick and Morty. Yeah, I get it, it’s cliché at this point, but you should watch it, it’s funny and crazy, especially when you’re high. Oh yeah, back to my future. I mean, like I said I’m content where I am. I don’t really have any plans for a family at this point. It’s not that I don’t want a girlfriend or haven’t had one before, it’s just that I don’t feel like I have the time or energy for that at this point. I have plenty of fun with my friends and really, not to get too weird, but there’s like millions of free porn videos and live streams out there, so I don’t really have to think about girls too much.

Right now, I’m really just focused on playing games and doing what I need to get by at my job. I mean, I have stable employment and the last thing I’d want is to lose my job. I get paid pretty well and if I keep doing this for awhile I might even get promoted and make $100k a year in my 30s or 40s. I mean, at that point I’ll have more money than I’d know what to do with. I mean, I’ll probably just buy a house so I can make a sick retro gaming room and put a bunch of old arcade machines in there.

Am I happy? Well, I mean, that’s not really something I think about very much. Usually I’m just lost in the game I’m playing or the show I’m watching. I guess sometimes I do feel lonely, and I hate that feeling so I usually don’t try to get lost in thought. I’m fine with being alone of course, I play games alone all the time, and I have a good group of friends, but sometimes I do just feel this weird void of meaning, like a deep pointlessness. I guess if I think about it, no…I’m not very happy. But hey, like they say, life is suffering, and we are just waiting away the days until the heat death of the universe, right?

Anyway, let me tell you about my predictions for the next Avengers movie.
